CAREER EDUCATION
Cook Trainee - Food Preparation Class
People for entry-level food service employment in restaurants, schools, and hospitals. Assistance with job placement upon completion of course will be provided. Identify and practice the current sanitation and safely regulations and skills needed to earn the Food Handlers Certificate. Learn proper use of various kitchen equipment used in food service. Learn how to use recipes and properly organize laboratory assignments. Learn to use volume and weight measurements. All phases of food preparation (general knowledge).

Chef Assitance - Food Service Management Class
Study the SERVSAFE ESSENTIALS COURSE to test for certification with National Restaurant Association. Earn your FOOD HANDLERS CERTIFICATE with the County of Los Angeles. Learn the basics of catering, food presentation and garnishing. Learn to perform portion control and compute recipe modifications. Learn the difference between liquid and dry measurements. Learn basic knowledge and restaurant cook, and other positions that require first-hand knowledge and experience. Learn skills in budget control and labor management.
